Welcome to my page! My audio file will give you a brief introduction to who I am and some things I like to do in my "spare" time.  One of the things I like to do in my spare time is cook.  Any recipe you could ever possible want can be found on Punchfork.  However, allow yourself a few hours the first time you look; every recipe is accompanied by a picture that will make you salivate.

Some other sites I visit constantly are the National Science Teacher Association - Learning Center.  It is a great resource for science teachers, but there are wonderful articles and ideas to inspire teachers of any subject area and age.  Use the library to search for collections of NSTA materials, or material generated by other teachers.  There are also great forums to discuss and share ideas with other teachers.  Another great organization is Project Amazonas.  Project Amazonas is a non-profit organization that partners with the Antioch University Heritage Institute to offer a summer course called "Hands-on Amazon for Educators".  The purpose of the course is for educators to spend a week in the Amazon River flood basin conducting research, of their design, and creating inquiry lessons for students based off the research.  This was an incredible course, and one that all educators should attend.

Check out KAZ Project for my group's presentation on Technology for Diverse Learners.  There are some great ways to use technology for the benefit of all students; students with special needs and adaptive technology to technology for extension and challenging gifted learners.
